Here is the latest article in Perfect Circle's 'People Profile' series, and we are delighted to introduce Sian Stretton, Associate Framework Director for Perfect Circle and Pick Everard.
Career History
'I first started working in bars and restaurants from 16 years old. I worked on cruise ships in cocktail bars teaching cocktail making and whiskey tasting classes that travelled around the South Pacific.
When I returned home I started working in administration for construction companies before joining Pick Everard to be an administrator on the Scape Frameworks. From there I have worked my way up to where I am today'.
Career Highlight
'Spending the day in Picton, New Zealand, looking at the mountains and harbour while our cruise ship was docked. It's the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Tell us About a Perfect Circle commission you've worked on?
'I don't work on individual projects, but have approved over 2000 fee proposals & contract documents for Perfect Circle and reported on over £1bn in secured fees'.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
'My 3 year old son'.
What does a typical day look like?
'Wake up, get ready and spend a few minutes with my son playing or having a cuddle. Work or do housework if it's the weekend. Go to the gym, do yoga, or run. Watch a documentary. Use the hot tub, read a book. Spend time with the family, prep for work and nursery for the next day. Make dinner or clean up if I didn't cook that night. Feed the hedgehog in our back garden. Go to sleep - Boring really!'
What do you like most about your role?
'My team. They are extremely helpful, supportive and efficient and so much fun to be around. They make coming to work a joy'.
If you could switch jobs with someone, who would it be?
'Dr. Keri Nixon - A Forensic Psychologist. But when I reach close to retirement age I'd like to do an outside job like an early morning beach litter picker or a park ranger in New Zealand'.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
'Other than my son, it's traveling and working around the world on my own. I'm very independent and love to seek new adventures'.
Tell us a secret that others would be surprised to find out?
'Being a coffee snob (I can't drink instant or coffee pods). My obsession with Marvel and how many times I've watched and cried at Endgame. I also watch at least one documentary everyday'.
