Perfect Circle renews commitment to Social Value UK

Defined as: ‘an approach [to construction] that focuses on delivering added value beyond the financial to communities and local areas in which projects are taking shape’, it is considered to be of paramount importance within the entire industry.

Social value is an integral part of Perfect Circle’s approach and operations – forming part of everything the consultancy does. As such, Perfect Circle is proud to support SVUK’s work, further educating staff, external stakeholders and supply chain partners of its importance.

As a Social Value Pioneer, Perfect Circle joins more than 50 national and international firms that ‘share a commitment to social value’.

Victoria Brambini, managing director at Perfect Circle, said: “Through our membership, Perfect Circle will continue to receive guidance and support from SVUK through mentoring schemes, workshops and bespoke training. We also have a dedicated team of ambassadors who are looking to really make a change in the industry.”

SVUK is ‘the national network for social impact and social value’. The industry-accredited body works to ‘change the way society accounts for value’, working with members to ‘increase the accounting, measuring and managing of social value from the perspective of those affected by an organisation’s activities, through our Social Value Principles’.

Victoria continued: “We have been a member of SVUK for two years now, so are delighted to reconfirm our commitment to delivering real social value across our schemes delivered nationally through Scape Group’s Built Environment Consultancy Services (BECS) framework.
